Corrections and updates

How to report an error and how we handle corrections and updates to published content.

Our commitment

Articles published on this website are reviewed before publication (see Editorial method and sources), but it can still happen that some information turns out to be inaccurate, outdated by a regulatory change, or simply wrong. When that happens, we correct the content as soon as possible.

How to report an error

If you notice an error, an outdated figure or a superseded regulatory reference in an article, write to andrea@andrearuffini.com indicating the article’s title or URL and the issue you found. Alternatively, you can use the website’s contact form.

How we handle corrections

Minor corrections — typos, broken links, small formal inaccuracies — are applied directly to the article, without a specific note.

Substantial corrections — that change a data point, a conclusion or a central claim of the article — are instead flagged with a note within the article itself, so that readers who have already read it can see what changed and why.

Content updates

Beyond corrections proper, some articles are updated over time to reflect regulatory changes, new data or a changed context. In this case too, substantial updates are flagged directly in the text of the article.
